Can CCTV work without cloud storage?
Yes. Many CCTV systems can record locally to an NVR or suitable recorder, with remote viewing configured separately where required. Cloud, local and hybrid approaches each have trade-offs around privacy, retention, reliability and ease of access.
What is the difference between CCTV analytics and alarm sensors?
CCTV analytics interpret camera footage, such as motion, people or vehicles where supported. Alarm sensors detect door, window, motion or perimeter events through the alarm system. They can complement each other, but they should not be treated as the same layer of protection.
Can an existing alarm be integrated with a smart home?
Sometimes, depending on the alarm panel, age, available outputs, app support and installer access. We check the existing equipment first, then decide whether integration, partial upgrade or replacement is the safer and more reliable path.
