Control light, privacy and heat before the room gets uncomfortable.
Motorised blinds, curtains, shutters and covers make the biggest difference when they are connected to the rest of the home. Morning routines can open selected rooms gently. Afternoon sun can trigger covers before the lounge overheats. Evening scenes can close privacy-facing windows automatically.
Modern window automation
We install motorised blinds, curtains, shutters and covers that can be controlled by app, voice, wall panel, schedule or scene where the selected equipment supports it. The right hardware depends on window size, fabric, power availability and whether the home is a retrofit, renovation or new build.
Benefits
- Improve comfort by reducing heat gain and glare.
- Improve privacy without walking room to room.
- Connect window covers to lighting, climate and security scenes.
- Use schedules for sunrise, sunset, movie mode and away mode.
- Choose battery-powered or hardwired motors depending on the project.
How it fits the wider system
Smart blinds, curtains, shutters and covers can work as a focused window automation upgrade or as part of Smart Lighting and Home Automation. When connected to climate control, shading can help reduce unnecessary cooling runtime during Sydney summers where the site and platform support it.

Smart blinds questions
Can existing blinds be motorised?
Some existing blinds, curtains, shutters and covers can be motorised, but it depends on the track, roller, fabric weight, opening size and power options. In many homes, replacing the motor or track is cleaner than trying to adapt unsuitable hardware.
Should I use battery or hardwired blind motors?
Battery motors can suit retrofit homes where cabling would be disruptive. Hardwired motors are usually better for new builds, renovations and large or frequently used covers. We choose based on window access, charging practicality, wiring opportunities and how often each cover will move.
Can blinds work with climate control?
Yes, where the motor, platform and sensors support it. Covers can close before harsh afternoon sun, open for useful daylight or join Goodnight and Away scenes. Read more in our smart blinds and Home Assistant guide.
